Celebrate Día de los Muertos with art! In this class, students will paint colorful, Day of the Dead–inspired faces and decorative designs on plant pots. Learn fun painting techniques while creating a festive piece that’s both unique and meaningful.

We recommend wearing something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy — probably not white! Sleeves that can be rolled or pushed up are ideal, especially for hands-on projects like painting, pottery, or printmaking.
We provide aprons and encourage everyone to wear them, but art has a way of finding its way onto clothes — so dress accordingly and come ready to create!
Yes, but they will have to sign up for a class as well.
Art Room 509 in Spokane has a no refund policy for classes: all sales are final. If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you can apply the payment toward a studio credit valid for 60 days. For cancellations made within 24 hours or no shows, you may still request a credit, but a $12 fee per person will be deducted from your balance.
Free parking on the street and in the parking lot. Parkwater Schoolhouse is currently not wheelchair accessible.
